What Real Estate Radar offers

Real Estate Radar has four products and a set of free house price pages:

• Market Dashboard: median house and unit prices, 3, 6 and 12-month changes, days on market, sales and rents for every Australian suburb, on a map you can compare suburb by suburb.
• Location Insights: ABS Census community data by suburb, such as population, age, income, housing and household make-up, for the 2016 and 2021 Censuses.
• Self-Service Mapping: make your own maps from your own addresses and data.
• Production Services: our static map design service, where our team designs finished maps for you.
• House price pages: free suburb price lists and maps for 81 Australian cities and regions, at radarmaps.com.au/house-prices/.

Who it is for

Home buyers and owners checking a suburb, real estate agents preparing vendor and buyer conversations, and developers and planners researching population and local demand.

Where the data comes from

Sale and rental figures come from REA sales data and are updated monthly. A suburb median covers sales over the past 12 months, so the changes over 3, 6 and 12 months move more slowly than monthly price index reports. On the house price pages, changes are not shown for a suburb with fewer than 10 sales of that property type in 12 months, because a few sales can swing the median.

Community figures come from the 2016 and 2021 ABS Census. Suburb boundaries are the ABS 2021 Suburbs and Localities. Each page and map shows the month and the area it covers. The full details are on the data sources and methods page, radarmaps.com.au/methodology/.

Plans

Anyone can see median prices across Australia without an account. A free account covers your local area, and paid plans cover your whole city or all of Australia. Current plans and prices are on the Plans & Pricing page.
